The
Gang: These four girls were always
good friends in school, but really began to hit
it off when they found themselves in the same youth
group together. Since then, you'll rarely see them
apart. They're also all in the same drama and video
production classes which is where they got the idea
to begin their own little production company. By
using Joy's camcorder she got for her birthday,
Grace's laptop for writing scripts, and a few odds
and ends that they borrow from the school, they've
come up with several creative ways to share the
love of Christ.
Joy
became a Christian when she was 6-years-old. She
remembers it well - it was during Sunday School
when her teacher, Mrs. Beckman, told her that it
was because Jesus died for her that she can now
have eternal life. Ever since then she has always
reflected the joy of the Lord. Joy has always been
a "ham" in front of the camera. Now she
gets to do it for the cause of Christ.
Grace
has only been a Christian a short time. Joy told her
about Jesus one day and invited her to church. In
Sunday School she learned about the grace that Jesus
had given her. Now she knows that even though she
is a sinner, she can still go to heaven. She has written
many short stories, and is now happy to use her writing
talents in their new video endeavors.
Faith
was the very first real friend that Joy had, and can't
remember ever not believing in Jesus. It was Faith's
influence that eventually helped Joy take the plunge
into being "on fire" for Christ. Faith has
a very strong personality and can talk almost anyone
into doing almost anything. It was her idea to start
the video club. And she is also the director of the
videos they make.
Hope
is the introvert of the group... most of the time.
She became a Christian shortly after Joy did. She
has always been more of a follower than a leader,
but she has the voice of an angel. Her biggest contribution
to the group is singing the music tracks used in many
of the video productions. Hope has a very soft heart
and often thinks of others before herself.
