Quick Rundown

  • I work full-time as a video producer/director for Western Michigan University.
  • I’m president of KTF Productions where I currently produce and host (voluntarily) the television series, “Christian Music Videos”, as well as the audio podcast series, “Hardcore Christianity”. Other current projects are the cartoon series, “The Wartleys” and the dramatic audio series, “Rezin”.
  • I’m most recently an area representative for Voice of the Martyrs, where I speak in public venues about VOM. I also lead a “Lifegroup” focused on VOM where anyone interested may join.
  • I’m involved with New Missions and Mission E4 where we sponsor several children in Haiti as well as take an annual mission trip there.

Testimony
I accepted Christ at the age of 5, and like most believers had my ups and downs when it came to faithfulness in my Christian walk. In college, I joined a campus ministry called, “Christians in Action”. It was at that point that God really got a hold of my life and I surrendered my future to Him. I still have a few ups and downs, but my focus is steady.

David and JeanneneBiography
In college, I met my wife of 17 years. As an independent study for campus credit, I created my first feature-length Christian movie called, “Keep The Faith”. At that time, my wife and I began KTF Productions (1993) and two years later made it a 501(c)(3) non-profit video production company, which we run together.

Voice of the Martyrs Path
In the early 2000s I learned about Voice of the Martyrs through a friend of mine. I began getting the newsletters, but didn’t read them for about two years. I had every intention of reading them, but for some reason I never got around to it. I just collected them in a pile as they came month after month. One day I decided I’d better start reading them. When I did, I couldn’t get enough. I couldn’t believe what our brothers and sisters in the persecuted world dealt with and what they were willing to sacrifice for the sake of the gospel. I began buying books through VOM, listening to the podcast, and going to the conferences. My wife and I also began volunteering in VOM projects and supporting the ministry more faithfully financially. In 2011, I received a letter asking if I’d consider being an area representative through their Voice Volunteer Network. I readily accepted, went through the training, and in September became an official area representative. I feel privileged to speak to different churches and groups about the persecuted church. My wife and I began a “Lifegroup” for anyone interested in joining us in prayer for the persecuted, growth in knowledge about the persecuted, and working together on volunteer projects through Voice of the Martyrs.
