As human beings, we naturally rely on what we can see. We trust what is visible, measurable, and understandable. It gives us a sense of control and certainty. But the life of faith calls us to something very different. In 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 7, we are reminded:
“For we live by faith, not by sight.”
Faith requires us to trust beyond what is visible. It asks us to believe that God is at work even when we cannot see the evidence. It invites us to move forward even when the path is unclear. There will be moments when circumstances don’t make sense. When what you see in front of you does not align with what you believe God has promised. In those moments, it can be tempting to rely solely on your understanding. But faith calls us to trust God’s perspective over our own. Walking by faith does not mean ignoring reality. It means recognizing that God’s reality is greater than what we can perceive. It means trusting that he is working in ways we cannot yet see. So I encourage you, when you are faced with uncertainty, resist the urge to rely only on what is visible. Instead, anchor yourself in what is true.

Faith is not blind—it is confident trust in a faithful God. When we choose to walk by faith, we step into a deeper relationship with him. Let us trust him, even when we cannot see the full picture.
