There are moments when life feels overwhelming. When challenges arise, emotions run high, and we feel uncertain about what lies ahead. In those moments, it can feel like we are alone. But Scripture reminds us of a powerful truth in Psalm 34, verse 18:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
God is near. Not distant. Not removed. Not unaware. He is present in our struggles, in our pain, and in our uncertainty. He draws close to us, especially in moments when we feel most vulnerable. There may be times when you feel like no one understands what you are going through. But God does. He sees your heart. He knows your pain. He understands your situation. So I encourage you, in moments of difficulty, draw near to God. Speak to him. Be honest with him.

God is not far from you—he is near. When we turn to him, we find comfort, strength, and peace. Let us remember that no matter what we face, we are never alone.
