Worry is something many of us struggle with. It often begins with a simple thought—a concern about the future, a question about how something will work out. But if left unchecked, worry can grow. It can consume our thoughts, steal our peace, and distract us from what truly matters. Jesus addresses this directly in Matthew, chapter 6, verse 27:
“Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
Worry does not change outcomes—but it does affect us. It drains our energy, clouds our thinking, and shifts our focus away from God. But God invites us to a different way of living. He calls us to trust. This does not mean ignoring challenges or pretending everything is fine. It means bringing our concerns to God and choosing to trust him with what we cannot control. So I encourage you, when worry begins to take hold, pause. Bring those concerns to God.

Worry focuses on what could go wrong. Trust focuses on who is in control. When we shift our focus to God, we begin to experience peace in the midst of uncertainty. Let us release worry and embrace trust.
