We were never meant to walk this life alone. From the very beginning, God designed us for relationship—not only with him, but with one another. In a world that often promotes independence and self-sufficiency, it can be easy to isolate ourselves. We may convince ourselves that we don’t need others, or that we can handle everything on our own. But Scripture reminds us of the importance of community in Hebrews, chapter 10, verse 25:
“Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.”
Community provides encouragement, accountability, and support. It is a place where we can grow, be challenged, and be reminded of God’s truth when we forget it ourselves. There will be times when your faith feels strong. But there will also be times when you struggle. In those moments, having a community around you can make all the difference. Likewise, there will be times when others need you. Community is not just about receiving—it is about giving. It is about being there for one another, lifting each other up, and walking together in faith. So I encourage you to invest in meaningful relationships. Surround yourself with people who point you toward God, who speak truth into your life, and who walk alongside you.

Faith is personal, but it is not meant to be private. We grow stronger together. Let us not isolate ourselves, but instead embrace the community that God has placed around us.
