It is easy to desire big moments—big opportunities, big impacts, big breakthroughs. We often look for ways to make a difference on a large scale. But God places great value on faithfulness in the small things. In Luke, chapter 16, verse 10, Jesus says:
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”
The small things matter. The quiet acts of obedience, the unseen moments of integrity, the daily choices to follow God—they all matter. We may think that what we are doing is insignificant. That no one sees it. That it doesn’t make a difference. But God sees. And he values faithfulness, even when it goes unnoticed by others. It is often in the small things that God prepares us for greater things. He builds our character, strengthens our faith, and teaches us to depend on him. So I encourage you not to overlook the small things in your life. Be faithful where you are. Honor God in the everyday moments.

Greatness in God’s kingdom is not measured by visibility—it is measured by faithfulness. Let us be people who are faithful in the small things, trusting that God is at work in every detail.
