Uncertainty is something we all face. There are moments in life when the future feels unclear, when decisions are difficult, and when we simply don’t know what lies ahead. In those moments, it is natural to want clarity. To want answers. To want certainty. But faith does not require certainty—it requires trust. In Isaiah, chapter 26, verse 3, we are reminded:
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
Peace is not found in knowing everything—it is found in trusting God. Uncertainty can feel uncomfortable because it reminds us that we are not in control. But it is also an opportunity. An opportunity to deepen our reliance on God. When we don’t know what comes next, we are invited to lean more fully into him. So I encourage you, if you are facing uncertainty today, resist the urge to try and control every outcome. Instead, bring your questions to God. Trust that he is guiding you, even when the path is unclear.

God does not always reveal the whole picture—but he always reveals enough for us to take the next step. Let us walk forward in faith, trusting that he is leading us, even in uncertainty.
